There’s something special about the start of the holiday season—the decorations come out, Christmas lists begin to grow, and familiar community traditions bring friends and neighbors together.
One of those traditions returns this November as the Montgomery County Extension Homemakers host their Annual Bazaar & Vendor Fair on Saturday, November 21, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Montgomery County Extension Education Center, 104 E. Locust Street in Mt. Sterling.
For years, the Homemaker Bazaar has been a place to shop, visit with friends, discover handmade treasures, and get into the Christmas spirit. This year, shoppers can once again look forward to a variety of local vendors offering handmade crafts, holiday décor, unique gifts, homemade items, and plenty of finds perfect for checking names off the Christmas list.
And what would a Christmas Bazaar be without a visit from Santa? Santa Claus will be stopping by from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for photos, so families are encouraged to bring the little ones and capture a special Christmas memory.
Come hungry, too! The Camargo Homemaker Club will be serving their Old-Fashioned Ham Biscuits, adding another taste of tradition to the morning’s festivities.
More than a shopping event, the Bazaar is a celebration of community. The Montgomery County Extension Homemakers have a long tradition of bringing people together through education, fellowship, leadership, and service. The annual Bazaar is just one of the many ways Homemaker members continue to create connections throughout Montgomery County.
So, grab a friend, bring your Christmas list, and spend the morning enjoying a little old-fashioned holiday cheer while supporting local vendors and a beloved community tradition.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
Make plans to join us Saturday, November 21, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Montgomery County Extension Education Center in Mt. Sterling.
Come for the shopping, stay for the ham biscuits, snap a photo with Santa, and help us kick off the Christmas season in Montgomery County!
