Street closure notice for First Friday

STREET CLOSURE NOTICE - FRIDAY – JUNE 5, 2026
Some downtown streets are closed for the First Friday Mt Sterling event this Friday, June 5, 2026. Barricades will be placed in multiple locations to restrict vehicle traffic.

@ 4PM “No Parking” enforced on South Maysville Street.
@ 5PM East Locust Street, Broadway, and Court Street will close to thru vehicle traffic.
@ 6PM-9PM “First Friday Market” event.
@10:00PM all streets will be open again.

Parking will be available in City Parking Lots #1, #2, and #3, as well as in designated parking spaces along streets that are not closed for the event.

Vendors and music stage will be located at the Market Pavilion. Food booths are located on South Maysville Street. Car show participants will be in the Courthouse square.

The Entertainment District is open for the event and open containers are authorized within the festival area boundaries. Our downtown shops and restaurants are open, please give them your business!
