Name of victim killed in accident released

The victim's name in a pedestrian vs. vehicle accident Tuesday has been released.

Montgomery County Coroner Jimmy Adams said the victim was Felicia G. Joseph, 36, of Lexington.

A death investigation continues by the coroner's and Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

The Montgomery County Coroner's Office was contacted at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday. Adams said he pronounced the victim deceased at the scene at 9:21 p.m. The incident occurred near the 113 exit.

Sheriff David Charles shared on social media U.S. 60 was closed at Pilot in both directions due to a serious accident and advised motorists to avoid the area. He later updated when the roadway had reopened.
