McNabb student's honeybee project recognized by national FFA organization

Posted

From McNabb Middle FFA
Big news for our chapter!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Mallory Webb for being recognized by the National FFA Organization for her outstanding SAE project!

Mallory, an eighth grader at McNabb Middle School, has turned her passion for agriculture into a thriving beekeeping business, Meter-Beez Apiary. What started as a childhood curiosity at the state fair has grown into a research-driven entrepreneurial project where she manages honeybee colonies, produces honey, and educates others on the importance of pollinators in our food system.

What is an SAE? An SAE, or Supervised Agricultural Experience, is a student-led, hands-on project where FFA members apply what they learn in the classroom to real agricultural experiences. These projects help students build leadership, responsibility, and real-world career skills.

Mallory truly represents the FFA motto of “Doing to Learn” by turning her passion into purpose, and this national recognition highlights her hard work, dedication, and impact in agriculture. We couldn’t be more proud!

Help us congratulate Mallory on this amazing accomplishment!
