The aquatic center is now open seven days a week.
Periodically, throughout the month of June, admission is $1 (it's higher on non-$1 admission days). Today was a $1 admission day.
By around 2 p.m., parks and recreation officials said between 250-300 people had visited the aquatic center. They expected those numbers to increase to around 400-500 by the end of the day.
The pool is open 11-6 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday; noon to 6 on Wednesdays; and 1 to 6 Sundays.
Regular addmission is 3 and Under – FREE
Ages 4-59 – $6
Ages 60+/Military – $5
We will have more coverage in next week's Advocate regarding additional aquatic center activities.
