Health dept. to offer drive thru medication drop off day

Montgomery County Health Department is offering a drive-thru medication drop off for Take Back Day! Happening this Thursday, June 18th, from 3pm-7pm! We will utilize the same drive-thru path we used during COVID-19 testing.

Safely dispose of any older prescription medications that are no longer needed, or common over the counter medications, with us! This service is at no cost to you, and it helps keep dangerous medications out of the hands of children. We will provide you with a tracking number so you can see when your medication(s) have been incinerated.

Please note, we can accept all medications, but NO SHARPS! 

We have a sharps disposal by our clinic side entrance where you can safely discard your sharps.

Can't make our date on June 18th? We offer this service all year long! Just come into the health department and we will safely dispose of your medications for you at no cost. For more information, please call 859-498-3808, option 1.
