Fiscal Court, animal shelter donate K9 to police dept.

From the City of Mt. Sterling:

Say hello to K9 KIRA, the newest member of the Mt Sterling Police Department!

Kira will partner with Officer Billy Rudd. The MSPD now has three K9s on the force. Thanks to the Montgomery County Fiscal Court and the Montgomery County Animal Shelter for the generous donation! And yes, Kira is a good girl!

The police dept. said Rudd and Kira will begin and intensive six-week training program as they work together to become an effective and highly skilled team to better serve the community.
