48 houses to date removed in city limits, lots cleared through BAD program

Another step forward! A blighted, abandoned, and dilapidated (BAD) house at 518 East Locust Street has been demolished! Since we started this program in 2019, we’ve seen forty-eight (48) BAD houses removed within the city limits and the lots cleared. Thanks to all of the property owners and community partners who have worked with us to remove blight from our city.
