Authorities searching for wanted suspect

🚨WANTED PERSON 🚨
 
Mount Sterling, KY (August 5th, 2025) - The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate Raymundo Pelayo, 40 years old of Mount Sterling. Pelayo has a Montgomery County Indictment warrant for one count of Rape, 1st Degree - incapable of consent/physically helpless, and one count of Sodomy, 1st Degree - incapable of consent/physically helpless. He also failed to appear in Montgomery District Court leading to a second warrant being issued. Detectives were assisted with the investigation by the Kentucky Office of the Attorney General.
