Week 2 of Summer Feeding Program today!

From Montgomery County Schools:

What an incredible start to the summer! Last week, our School Nutrition team distributed meal kits to more than 1,380 children at McNabb Middle School—that's 19,300+ meals helping keep kids fueled and ready for summer fun!

So, what are we handing out today?

Each weekly meal kit includes:
 7 breakfasts
 7 lunches
 1 gallon of milk
 A variety of fruits, vegetables, and other kid-approved favorites

PLUS, you'll receive menus and easy-to-follow preparation instructions to help make mealtime simple at home. From reheating tips to storage suggestions, we've got you covered!

 Pickup: Every Wednesday in June & July
 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
 McNabb Middle School (Back Lot)
 Free for all children ages 18 and under

 Please review the route map below before arriving.

 Important Traffic Information
• Enter from Indian Mound Drive via Champions Way
• Follow the designated route around the back of the campus to the pickup area behind McNabb Middle School
• Drivers entering from Woodford Drive will be instructed to turn around and enter using the correct route

 At the Loading Zone
• Watch for directions from staff as you enter the pickup area
• Place your vehicle in park
• Unlock your doors before staff begins loading
• Have a preferred loading location in mind (trunk, back seat, etc.), as staff will ask where you'd like your meals placed

 Good to Know
• A meal tag is required OR children must be present at pickup.
