Virginia Louise Turley Donaldson,  98, peacefully departed this life, Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025.

Born April 6, 1927, in Owingsville, she was the daughter of  the late Robert and Ardena Williams Turley.  She was the heart of her family and a steadfast presence in the lives of those who knew her.  A faithful member of the Rolling Hills Church of Christ, her lifelong commitment to her faith inspired many.  Her gentle spirit and nurturing nature were reflected in everything she did, whether it was through her culinary creations, beautiful vegetable and flower gardens or the love and support she provided to her son, David Donaldson.  She lived a full life, always finding joy in her passions, including her role as a devoted UK basketball fan and the delightful memories created during family Christmases spent in sunny Florida.  She was married to her late husband, Kenneth Donaldson, for 68 wonderful years.  Together, they created a world filled with love, laughter and countless cherished memories.  As we reflect on her extraordinary life, we remember her as a woman who had a remarkable ability to stay busy while uplifting those around her.

Survivors include a son, David Donaldson (Jamie); grandson, Kenneth Zachary Donaldson (Rachel); great-grandchildren, Ellie Donaldson, Kaden Donaldson and Vivenna Donaldson; siblings, Betty Turley and Kenneth Paul Turley (Connie); sister-in-law, Jean Turley; brother-in-law, Larry Donaldson (Phyllis); and numerous special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth B. Donaldson; brothers, Adrian Turley and Jim Turley; and sister, Anna Francis Warren.

Service was conducted Tuesday, Nov. 25, at the Rolling Hills Church of Christ with Bro. Dan Murphy and Bro. Jerry Carmichael officiating.  Burial was in Machpelah Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Byron Craycraft, Dwain Ginter, Ronnie Cooper, Mike Evans, Tony Douthitt, Mike Donaldson, Dwayne Welch and Chris Keath.
