From Montgomery County Animal Shelter:
Thursday, April 2, 2026 — a bittersweet day at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter.
After 479 days with us, Rambo has finally found his forever home. It’s hard to put into words how much he has meant to everyone here. We grew so attached to him, and it’s honestly surprising he was overlooked for so long—because Rambo is truly an incredible dog.
During his time at the shelter, Rambo became more than just a resident—he became an ambassador. He helped shine a light on all shelter animals and showed just how important it is to adopt, not shop. He represented everything we hope for every animal that comes through our doors.
Rambo was just two years old when he arrived on December 9, 2024. Since then, he’s spent all this time being patient, loving, and nothing short of amazing. He has been such a good boy every single day.
Now it’s finally his turn.
We couldn’t be happier for Rambo as he begins this new chapter with his forever family. While we’ll miss him deeply, we’re so excited for all the love, comfort, and adventures ahead of him.
Best wishes, Rambo—you deserve the very best life.
