Rumpke establishes odor hotline

In response to community feedback about the landfill, Rumpke has established a local hotline number/email for Montgomery County residents to use to report odor concerns: 859-514-0830 or montgomerycountylandfill@rumpke.com.

Callers will receive a message prompting them to leave their name, number, address and other information, while emailers should leave all their information, including the time/date they noticed the odor issue, a release said.

"It is important to provide as much detail as possible to help our team respond. We appreciate the community’s feedback, both positive and negative, as we continue to move through the expansion process," a release provided by Kevin Hall, communications coordinator, said.
