Rumble strip installation scheduled for portion of U.S. 60

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Montgomery & Fayette Counties 

Rumble strip installation is scheduled on portions of U.S. 60 in Montgomery County and U.S. 421 in Fayette County.

 Montgomery County – Beginning Monday, Sept. 28
U.S. 60 (Winchester Road), MP 1.7-3.4, from approximately one-quarter mile before Bent Brook Drive east to Meadow View Drive.

 Fayette County – Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 29
U.S. 421 (Leestown Road), MP 4.0-8.1, from Ruffian Way north to just before Browns Mill Road.

Work will take place from approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. Alternating lane closures will be in place while crews install rumble strips.

Work is expected to take two to three days, weather permitting.

Motorists should use extra caution and watch for crews and equipment in the work zones.
