Mt. Sterling Water and Sewer shared this week and it was included in the Advocate Greenbrier is opening back up to the public!
Beginning March 1, the public can enjoy fishing, kayaking and picknicking.

Greenbrier Reservoir is our community’s secondary source of drinking water, therefore we ask that you make every effort to keep the lake and surrounding area clean and free of debris and waste.
The following rules and regulations apply:
• No Littering.
• No Swimming.
• No Drugs and/or Alcohol permitted on the lake or grounds.
• Given this is a family oriented environment we ask that visitors refrain from profanity, inappropriate acts and/or behavior.
• No gasoline motors are permitted to be operated on the lake, ONLY ELECTRIC.
• All persons under the age of 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult at least 21 years of age.
• All state and local game laws apply. FISHING LICENSES are REQUIRED.
• No fishing will be allowed using trot lines, nets, jugs, or traps.
• No overnight camping. No camp fires or cooking fires are permitted.
• Any individual that fails to follow the posted rules may risk access and usage privileges being revoked, in addition to possible legal consequences.
Not Responsible for Theft, Accidents or Injury
A Daily or Annual Usage Permit must be purchased from the Mt. Sterling Water and Sewer office located at 300 East Main Street, Mt. Sterling KY
Daily Usage Permits - $5.00 per Person
Annual Usage Permits - $50.00 per Household ($60 for first time pass holders, then $50 every year after if you keep your permit)
