Contract for Camargo collection system rehab project awarded

Montgomery County Sanitation District No. 2 awarded Connhurst LLC the Camargo Collection System Rehabilitation contract for $ 2,272,108.00.
 
The work, according to information provided by the City of Camargo, includes rehabilitation of a number of existing pump stations, demolition of the existing pump station and replacement with a new pump station as well as collection system rehab work. 
 
"After over five years of hard work, I'm proud that the Camargo Collection System Rehabilitation Project has been awarded to ConnHurst LLC for $2,272,000," Mayor Clayton Neal said. "As mayor, I've stayed heavily involved to ensure our community's needs are met. This investment will rehabilitate pump stations and sewer lines, reduce overflows and deliver a stronger, more reliable system for Camargo residents."
 
The project is being paid for with grant funds.
 
"Special thanks go to Bell Engineering for their excellent work, Gateway Area Development District for their regional assistance, Judge Haddix for his leadership and the Montgomery County Sanitation District No. 2 for driving this forward," Neal said.
