 Cali Rain Miller, 16

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cali Rain Miller, who left us Sunday, Aug. 17, 2025, at the tender age of 16.

Born Sept. 17, 2008, in Anderson, S.C., she grew up in North Middletown, where she was known for her artistic talent and gentle spirit. She was a remarkable artist, often found expressing her creativity through drawings. As a member of the art club at the Paris library, she shared her passion for creativity with others and inspired those around her. Many remember her as a caring and beautiful soul, possessing a quiet strength that shone through her soft-spoken demeanor. Beyond her artistic pursuits, she was an extraordinary big sister, exemplifying love, loyalty and support for her family. Her sense of humor and wit brought joy to those she interacted with, effortlessly lighting up any room. She embodied gratitude and appreciation, always standing up for others and extending kindness to those in need. She had a deep love for travel, cherishing the moments spent visiting the beach, where she found peace and solace. Her free spirit was a testament to her adventurous nature, and her memories will forever reside in the hearts of those she touched.

Survivors include her loving parents, Jennifer Miller and Justin Miller; brothers, Cash and Finley Miller; grandparents, Angel and Euing Clark, Derek and Deborah Mattison, Charlene “Char-Char” and James Stamper; aunt, Emily Mattison (Derek Wightman); uncles, Brandon Mattison (Katie) and Joshua Mattison; cousins, Ryker Wightman and Fletcher Wightman; and special sister, Makenzie Stamper, all of whom will carry her legacy forward with pride and fond remembrance.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Oscar “Leonard” Miller; and cousin, Archer Wightman.

In honor of her beautiful life, service was conducted Friday, Aug. 22, at Dayspring A Church Alive with Pastor Rodney Coffey officiating.
