From the Gateway Regional Arts Center:
Take a stroll along the Adena Trail and see the latest installations GRAC has placed: A set of illustrated historical markers showcasing local history and artwork of some pretty important locations in our hometown.
We have a bit of information about our historic Court Day Festival, the train depot, and the Adena Burial Mound that the city was centered around. We would like to give a special thank you to the City of Mount Sterling Public Works Department for placing the signs along the trail and making our vision more permanent!
This has been a year-long project for us here at GRAC and we're so grateful for the opportunity to implement more artwork and talk about the foundations of our beautiful city.
