Sidewalk project scheduled

Improvements for Main Street and the Maysville Road Intersection
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled improvement project for Mt. Sterling. The work will include resurfacing and sidewalk reconstruction. Motorists can pass through the work zone and flaggers will be onsite at specific times to direct traffic.
Tuesday, July 15 through Friday, Dec. 19 – 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. weekdays
Main Street and Maysville Road – the intersection
Operations will be located:
Main Street – between milepoints 5.05 and 5.22
Maysville Road – between milepoints 9.48 and 9.56
- the right turn lane in the Westbound direction on Main Street will be closed at the intersection with Maysville Road
- the left turn in lane in the Eastbound direction on Main Street will be closed at the intersection with Maysville Road
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
