Eric Wayne Wilson, 57, of Lawrenceburg, died Sunday, June 8, 2025.
Born March 14, 1968, in Mt. Sterling, he was the son of the late Ray and Faye Wilson. He was the youngest of their four children. He graduated from Montgomery County High School and attended the University of Kentucky. He retired from Toyota Manufacturing in Georgetown. He had a bubbly personality and made friends with anyone he met. He was voted “life of the party” and always found a way to celebrate life. He loved fishing, roller coasters and trying new restaurants. He enjoyed listening to all genres of music and going to concerts with his children. He cared deeply for his family, and spent most of the last few years with his devoted daughter, Hannah.
He was blessed with four children, Jordan Wilson, Erica Cornette (David), Hannah Rand (Wesley) and Levi Wilson (Joren), and nothing was more important to him. He was also Papaw to two grandchildren, Thomas Williams Cornette and Damien Wayne Cornette, and multiple grandpuppies that he showered with love.
Survivors include his children; grandchildren; sister, Ravenna Wasson; brother, Victor Wilson; and his niece and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Wilson of Owingsville.
Memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 12, at Taul Funeral Home. Visitation was 5-7 p.m., Wednesday.
He is lovingly remembered for the way that he always found a way to make us laugh, and we will miss him every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew him.
A healthy Montgomery County requires great community news.
