Reminder: Public invited to school safety forum Monday

The Montgomery County Board of Education will hold a special session Monday, June 9, at the Clay Community Center.
The public is invited to a forum that will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Superintendent Matt Thompson said he and Chris Barrier, chief of school district police, will discuss the various layers of school security that have already been taken and the possible purchase of a high-tech weapons detection system.
The district is also seeking public feedback.
