Mary Ann Jackson, 63

Mary Ann Jackson, 63, of Mt. Sterling, died Saturday, June 28, 2025, at her residence. 

Born July 31, 1961, in Redwood City, Calif., she was the daughter of the late John Edward McCann and Annette Elizabeth Matzinger McCann. She attended Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Church and was an office administrator for Breger Chiropractic Center in Hollister, Calif. 

Survivors include her husband, Hal Douglas Jackson; sons, John Sampson of San Jose, Calif., Shane Sampson (Aimee) of Magalia, Calif., and Kayce Sampson (Mindy) of Forest Ranch, Calif.; daughters, Kaitlyn Bracken (Ben) of Paradise, Calif., Kimberly O’Keefe of Los Banos, Calif., and Kassidy O’Keefe of Los Banos, Calif.; brother, James Allen McCann (Heidi) of Bozeman, Mont.; and four grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Elizabeth McCann Skurja. 

Memorial service will be conducted 2-4 p.m.,\ Wednesday, July 9, at Owingsville Ward of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in Owingsville, Kentucky, with Bishop John Nelson officiating.
