Richard Wayne Rudd, 54

Richard Wayne Rudd, 54, of South Shore, died Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the Best Care Health and Rehab in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
Born Oct. 3, 1970, in Mt. Sterling, he was the son of Judy Halsey Rudd and the late William Richard Rudd.  He was an over the road truck driver and enjoyed outdoor activities, especially fishing, camping and hiking.   His  family says if “A dog is a man’s best friend, his was Ladybug.”
In addition to his mother survivors include his wife, Kimberly Rudd; six children, Tori (Clint) Pulliam of Mt. Sterling, Nisha (Gabriel) Toledo of Sharpsburg, Kellie (Nick) Lucas of Nicholasville and Tabitha Rudd of Elizabethtown; step-children, Kiara Clark and Devon Collignon; sister, Donna (Freddie) Doyle of Owingsville; 16 grandchildren, Gabe Toledo Jr., Austin Toledo, Jazmyn Toledo, Garrett Lucas, Haydyn Manley, Michael Lucas, Felix Toledo, Addie Adkins, Mason Adkins, Kinsley Manley, Maverick Adkins, Annalise Pulliam, Memphis Rudd, Sawyer Pulliam, Beckham Collignon and Ryker Sams.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dock and Elizabeth Halsey; paternal grandparents, Kelly and Elizabeth Rudd; and uncles, Charles Rudd, Fred Halsey and Jack Halsey.
Service was conducted Tuesday, June 10, at Herald and Stewart Home for Funerals Chapel with Donald Rudd officiating.  Burial was in Rudd Cemetery on Grassy Creek Road in Morgan County.
Pallbearers were Nick Lucas, Gabriel Toledo, Clint Pulliam, Haydyn Manley, Devon Collignon, Mike Douthitt and Freddy Doyle.
