Greenia Trimble Craycraft, 90

Greenia Trimble Craycraft, 90, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday, June 6, 2025, at Windsor Care Center.
Born Oct. 3, 1934, in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Fannie Harrison Trimble.  She attended Reid Village Baptist Church.  She retired from Newberry’s as a sales clerk and Foodtown Grocery as a cashier.  
Survivors include a son, Mark Craycraft (Denise) of Mt. Sterling; daughter, Donna Craycraft Raper (Tim) of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren, Bradley Craycraft, Tara Craycraft Cherven (Chris), Amanda Moore and Sarah Shackelford (John), all of Mt. Sterling and JD Moore of Arlington, Washington, D.C.; great-grandchildren, Carson Cherven and Kennedy Shackelford; brothers, Cecil Trimble of Richmond and Roy Trimble of Jeffersonville; sister, Martha Parker of Shelbyville; nephew, Steve Trimble of Mt. Sterling; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Thomas Craycraft; brothers, Elmer Bud Trimble, Stanley Trimble and Henry Trimble; and sisters, Ella Trimble Jones and Nannie Fritz.
Graveside service was conducted Wednesday, June 11, at Machpelah Cemetery with Rev. David Dooley officiating.
Pallbearers were Tim Raper, Bradley Craycraft, Steve Trimble, Chris Cherven, Dwain Ginter and John Shackelford.
Honorary pallbearers were Randy Craycraft, John Trimble, Taylor Trimble and Bill Trimble.
Memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Monday, July 7, at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Dooley officiating.  Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Monday, July 7.
